        The Rocky Mountain Regions Original and most

 comprehensive MOBILE fire and police testing service.

There has been a significant amount of national attention and press recently

from the IAFC and IAFF regarding the health and well being of our Fire Service Personnel. 

In studies released in 2007 from Harvard University and the NFPA both indicate that

approximately 45% of the deaths that occur among U.S. firefighters are due to

 heart disease!  These are alarming figures, ones which MUST be addressed by

 all departments! 

For over 19 years, we have been assessing the health and fitness of Colorado's

 firefighters and police officers.  Our philosophy of assessing functional and performance capability first originates as a result of our hands on, interactive approach to the health and well being of Civil Service personnel.  We not only assess for, but have ourselves performed all tests and measures such as the Combat Challenge, CPAT tests, and other pre-employment tests such as the 1 mile run.  Diagnostic tools such as Cardiac CT Scans are valuable, but an individual must first show the baseline ability to physically perform the job functions and pass preliminary evaluations which assess BOTH function and cardiovascular status!

Assessments offered include

► Complete Sub Maximal or Maximal 12 Lead Functional  EKG Stress Tests.  Determine METS.

► IAFF Wellness Fitness Initiative Task Force assessments for muscle strength, muscle endurance,

 flexibility & range of motion.

► Cardiac CT scan with calcium scoring. +

► Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT) Scanning for atherosclerosis and arterial thickening.

► Full Medical Physicals with licensed doctors.

► All necessary blood and lipid tests and screenings.

► Complete urinalysis screen/tests.

► Shoulder, Lumbo-Sacral and lower extremity screening.

► Vision and hearing screening.

► Pulmonary function screening.

►12 week custom "Combat Ready" Strength and Conditioning training program for fitness!.

+ CT Scans and CIMT ultrasounds offered based on local medical facility access only.
