“We have been using Med-Well for many years to conduct our pre-employment Fire and Police medical screenings. The flexibility demonstrated by Anthony Palmieri and his staff during our venture to consolidate the screening process has been impressive. Anthony responded to our needs immediately and diligently researched the details of POST and CDC requirements to ensure that everything was covered. He continues to share his expertise by updating us with new information and provides helpful instructions for our candidates. He has proven time and again his commitment to customer satisfaction.”
Sincerely,

“Anthony Palmieri and his dedicated staff of professionals have been extremely responsive to the needs of the Commission. They have accommodated every schedule request, or changes to it. When the Commission has requested additional areas to be evaluated, the pricing has been fair and their implementation prompt.
More importantly, Mr. Palmieri brings a personal element into the business of fitness evaluations. He doesn’t hesitate to drop in or call for feedback on the process, or discuss overall requirements. What impresses me most is not just the level of professional skill that they provide, but the fact that they truly want to satisfy their clients.”

“Anthony is a trainer who has an optimal balance between tough love and compassion, which is what it takes to keep me motivated and inspired. I drag myself into a training session and before I know it I’m leaving feeling rejuvenated after a great workout. Anthony puts me through the paces in a way I would never push myself.”

“In December 2005, I took a hard look at myself and did not like what I saw. I was over 215 pounds, I had high blood pressure, and constant back pain. My Body Mass Index was off the charts and I ate poorly. I needed a change. I decided to invest some time and money in myself and find a trainer.
Looking back, I remember telling Anthony on my first visit that my goal was to lose weight. He wasted no time that first day in sharing the wisdom that would shape the next few months and years. While weight loss was a worthy goal, he explained that success in the Med-Well program was not going to be determined by the scale alone. Success was going to be measured in the small changes I could make on a daily basis in terms of aerobic exercise, strength training, food choices and lifestyle. Rather than vow to go on a restrictive diet, Anthony encouraged me to make a commitment to walk a little more today than I did yesterday. Rather than give up all alcoholic beverages, he encouraged me to cut back to one or two glasses of my favorite wine a week. And so I began the journey to better health the Med-Well way, making small sustainable changes. For me, the pressure of the “diet plan” was replaced with a more relaxed program of tracking daily and weekly progress. Anthony documented my workouts, and progressively challenged me with a little more weight, a few more reps or a few more tiny changes each week. He talked about managing expectations and about life balance. What began in my mind as a weight loss program, he molded into lessons in physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, and sustainable life choices. The result has been life changing.
I am now about to begin my third year in working with Med-Well. My blood pressure is down, my blood work is text book, the back pain is gone. I am learning to maintain a healthy diet and I’m proud to say a healthy weight in the 150′s. Through it all Anthony has been there to encourage, challenge, and to instruct.”
